Field Study #6

Field Study #6: Date: November 30 Time: 2:00pm Temperature: 31 Length of Day: Sunrise (7:54 am)-sunset (5:12pm) Senses: I couldn't smell anything abnormal. It was just really really cold.  Changes: All of the snow melted because of the warmer weather. It is getting colder though, it also snowed a little bit today. Field Study #5:

 Field Study #5: Monday, November 14 Time: 7:00 am Temperature: around 32 degrees Length of Day: 10 hours, 11 minutes Senses: The snow was just starting to stick on the ground. It was a lot colder than last time- considering it dropped almost 30 degrees. It was a little windy as well so I could hear the whistling from that. Nothing smelled abnormal.  Changes: The bush was continuing to die off. Also it clearly snowed- the leaves died off and fell off the trees.  Pictures:

Field Study #4

Field Study #4 Sunday, October 30 Time: around 1 o'clock pm.  Temperature: 60 degrees Length of day: 10 hours and 23 minutes Senses: The bush in the front died off! It is a week that produces berries- bears and deer eat them. It was very calm, the sun was out and no wind so I couldn't hear much. It did smell like wet leaves- I think it rained the night before and it was still wet. There are a lot more leaves on the ground like before though.  Changes: Leaves on the ground, more trees are changing color, and the bush.

 Date: Sunday, October 9  Time: 3:30 pm  Temperature: 52 degrees Length of day: 11 hours 29 minutes Senses: It was very windy today. That's pretty much all I heard- other than some deer rumbling in the bushes!! Changes: Not many changes. The leaves were turning colors though! Pictures:

Field Study #2

Field Study #2 Date: Wednesday, September 28 Time: around 7:00pm Temperature: it was around 50 degrees at this time.  Length of Day: 11 hours and 54 minutes  Senses: It was a LOT colder than normal today. It got windier towards the end of the day, which is when I was out there. There was nothing abnormal about the smell- just smelled like nature. I think the corn that my dad set out was still drifting a little but otherwise no big smell. Changes: There was not many changes- just that it was very sunny and warm in Field Study #1 and it was cloudy and windy and cold in #2.  Pictures:

Field Study #1

 Field Study #1 Date: September 8, 2022 Time: Around 3:30 pm General Layout:   Map of overhead view: Temperature: it was about 70 degrees at this time in the day.  Length of day: September 8- 12 hours and 32 minutes Senses: For smell, the grass had just been mowed so it smelled like freshly cut grass. Vision- I saw a lot of bees and birds. A few hummingbirds were there too! There were definitely a lot of squirrels as well. A couple months ago my dad put some corn out for the deer for hunting season, and for some reason the squirrels and turkeys are eating it! Video:
